Our Story

We met in the fall of 2019 at Holy Family University, where we were friendly through mutual friends. It wasn’t until Joe’s best man (and our favorite matchmaker!), Don, gave fate a gentle nudge that everything changed. On February 15, 2020, we went on our first official date — dinner at Liberty Bell Diner followed by a movie. Joe’s adorable lack of punctuality meant we had an unexpected hour to talk in his truck beforehand — a conversation that would become the spark of something truly magical.

Just weeks later, the world shut down. We spent the early days of our relationship in lockdown — Skyping, texting, and growing closer from a distance. Through trivia games, movie nights, and many hours of laughter, we built a bond that only grew stronger. Since then, we’ve shared countless adventures, from our first Disney trip (a graduation celebration for both of us!) to butterbeers in Diagon Alley and lightsaber-building at Galaxy’s Edge.

We got engaged on our five-year anniversary — February 15, 2025 — in Amanda’s living room, just the two of us.. Afterward, we returned to Liberty Bell Diner to recreate a piece of our very first date.

Through every chapter, challenge, and celebration, we’ve continued to choose love, laughter, and a little bit of nerdy magic. Now, we can’t wait to say “I do” surrounded by the people we love most — and begin our next great adventure together.
